Abacus Search StaffingTopeka, KSGrowing firm actively seeking a full time CPA to join our team. We are looking for an individual with management experience, preferably in outsourced CFO type rolls. The department will oversee all aspects of client accounting to assist clients with their business and provide a quality experience. Client engagements include all aspects of write-up preparation including tax deposits, quarterly and year end reporting, 1099s, monthly bank reconciliations, sales tax filings, monthly compilations and financials, accounting clean-up assistance, and payroll oversight. Candidate must be able to manage deadline schedules and a team of 5-6 staff members. We strive to help clients maintain financial viability in the present, while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Certified Public Accountant
Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing staff and projects
Time and experience in public accounting, preferred
Payroll processing experience
Accounting and bookkeeping experience
Financial, reconciliation, and compilation preparation experience, including reviewing and adjusting as necessary
Knowledge of QuickBooks or Accounting CS Software helpful
Experience with MS office, data entry and standard office equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to professionally engage with clients and staff both verbally and in writing
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities :
Processing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax for multiple clients
Inputs data and information into systems
Will work within cycled schedules of different and multiple clients
Works closely with partners, managers, and staff to facilitate a team approach
Maintains strong client service relationships
Proactively reaches out to obtain knowledge, additional tasks, and responsibilities.
