Human Resources Generalist

Essential Functions:
- Creating and maintaining of facility spreadsheets
- Prepares and maintains employee files
- Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files; performs paper and system audits as necessary
- Enters data into HRIS system ensuring the accuracy of information
- Processes new-hire, status change and termination paperwork
- Participates in recruitment and interview processes
- Performs other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- 1 to 2 years of direct experience in HR field
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives
- Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
- Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
- Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time 1st shift position. Schedule is Monday through Friday. Local travel is expected for this position.
