Missouri Reign is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Public Relations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth communication and media operations, both on and off the field. If you have a passion for sports, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include :
Media Coordination :
Serve as the main point of contact for all news organizations during games.
Organize and support the broadcast team, ensuring smooth operations.
Schedule and coordinate player interviews pre- and post-game.
Collect and distribute lineups for Missouri Reign, AFC Columbia, and opposing teams.
Game-Day Operations :
Meet and assist photographers, videographers, and other media personnel.
Report scores and key updates to news outlets in a timely manner.
Ensure press areas and resources are properly organized and accessible.
Content & Communication :
Help capture photos and videos for promotional use, stepping in to shoot content if needed.
Draft, proofread, and distribute press releases, ensuring they are professional and accurate.
Special Events :
Support the planning and execution of sponsorship nights and other special events.
Collaborate with the team on creative promotions and engagement opportunities during games.
Community & Sponsorship Engagement :
Maintain strong relationships with local media, sponsors, and community partners.
Facilitate sponsor activations and ensure sponsor visibility during events.
Qualifications - Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in public relations, journalism, or media coordination preferred.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a high-energy environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation is a plus.
- Passion for sports and a commitment to enhancing the fan experience.
