JOB SUMMARY : Responsible to lead and oversee development and execution of the company's integrated communications and public relations strategy. Lead content writing staff in support of the company's brand and content marketing strategies.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Oversee all corporate communication and PR activities, including media outreach, press releases, media kits, and thought leadership positioning.
- Responsible for planning and management of corporate communications content.
- Lead and manage the communications writing staff. This includes vision casting and professional development, goal setting, recruiting, and hiring staff.
- Collaborate closely with other marketing department leaders and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand message across every touchpoint with accuracy and quality of all written content.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Continually look for internal and external communication and PR opportunities to share our story and maintain our reputation as the market leader in our space.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
