Client Summary :

  • Increase enrollment : Boosts the number of participants in clinical oncology research.
  • Diverse populations : Targets and includes more diverse populations in clinical trials.
  • Enhanced research capabilities : Turbocharges clinical research capabilities using existing resources.
  • Force-multiplier : Acts as a force-multiplier for existing oncology clinical trial and research teams.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting cancer centers and Academic Medical Centers, with a focus on increasing revenue.
  • Revenue Growth : Drive substantial revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Pitch efficiency gains to potential clients to highlight the value proposition.
  • Deal Closure : Serve as the primary closer for significant deals. Focus on deal throughput rather than merely building relationships.
  • Market Focus : Identify key markets and clients to target while advising on where to focus efforts and where not to, utilizing Sales 101 principles to streamline the sales process.
  • Network Utilization : Leverage an extensive professional network to open doors and facilitate introductions to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Sales Operations : Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficient sales operations and deal throughput.
  • Startup Environment : Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing to a culture of innovation and agility.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

    • Experience & Skills :

    Required Experience and Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Industry Knowledge : Extensive experience selling into cancer centers
  • Sales Skills : Exceptional hunter seller mentality with a strong ability to close deals. Deep understanding of how to get deals through the sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Networking : Well-established network within the healthcare and IT sectors.
  • Strategic Thinking : Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify key markets and focus efforts effectively.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    • Preferred Experience and Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree preferred.
