This summer internship position will provide the student with valuable experience in Corporate & Government Relations, as well as offering opportunities to learn and engage in external stakeholder outreach. This individual will be involved in several projects throughout the internship specifically related to writing, research, development, and relationship management.
Here is how the Corporate & Government Relations Intern will help :
- Assist the Corporate & Government Relations team in external outreach, through tours, community events and more.
- Draft and review correspondence, memos, legislative and regulatory summaries.
- Conduct research into grants and funding opportunities, utilizing department tools and trackers to create outreach plans.
- Work to optimize existing digital tools such as SalesForce and Asana, to compliment department activities
- Conduct legislative and regulatory research on state and federal levels;
- Monitor and track industry news and related legislative developments using a myriad of information sources;
- Develop and edit PowerPoint presentations as needed;
- Performs other related tasks as assigned or required.
