The Employee Relations Partner at Joby Aviation blends strategic HR business partnership with employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy development. You will proactively address employee concerns, lead investigations, support talent development efforts, and use data to identify trends and develop targeted solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop effective relationships with team members and team leads to promote positive employee relations throughout the organization to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement
- Investigate employee relations issues, ensure all cases are accurately documented and compliant with company policy and relevant labor laws
- Assist with employee relations special projects
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment in alignment with company policies and labor laws
- Apply specialized knowledge to resolve more complex issues related to conflict resolution, corrective action, and performance management
- Develop and implement templates or processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of employee relations activities within the team
- Plan, coordinate, and execute people-related events, including but not limited to employee engagement programs and other campus events

Desired
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $89,600 - $119,500 / year, plus shift differential. The compensation package offered will be determined by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
