We are looking for a motivated Tax Manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join our team in Reno, Nevada. Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee multiple tax engagements for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the firm’s business portfolio.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and strategies to optimize tax outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough tax research and resolve complex tax issues, ensuring adherence to current regulations.
• Review and approve tax returns and related documentation prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with audit teams to assist clients in audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, and marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and reputation.
• Mentor and support entry level team members, encouraging their growth and skill development.
• Monitor industry trends and contribute innovative ideas to improve firm operations and services.
• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, including handling tax and audit assignments.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and drive business growth.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software
• Expertise in corporate tax returns, annual income tax provisions, and entity formation.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
