Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of our financial operations, including financial statement preparation, monthly reporting, and month-end close procedures. Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 2. Perform month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis. 3. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data. 4. Ensure compliance with all internal controls and policies, as well as external regulations. 5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and achieve company objectives. 6. Utilize SAP software to manage and analyze financial data. 7. Provide financial support and guidance to the manufacturing team, particularly in relation to cost management and profitability analysis. 8. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required. Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus. 4. Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems. 5. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations and standards. 6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 7. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. 10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on financial data. Interested in hearing more?
