- Work collaboratively with the Grants Operations Manager, and program, development, and department staff in overseeing grant applications to include:
- Develop strategies with programs and the finance department to seek funding.
- Manage submission of grant applications and provide oversight of the award process and its implementation.
- Assist the development department's strategy to maintain and increase private funding.
- Assist the development department’s stewardship of private foundation funders.
- Research and identify renewal and new grant funding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit funding proposals.
- Oversee, write, maintain, and steward multi-million-dollar federal grants, and all other public and private grants.
- Direct organizational efforts in collaboration with the Grants Operations Manager to:
- Ensure adherence to all grant and reporting timelines.
- Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents.
- Manage and maintain timelines, grants, records, reporting, and other documentation utilizing a grants management system.
- Work with program staff, finance, and grant accountants to ensure deadlines for reports are met and grants are being spent in accordance with contract requirements.
- Assist in telling the organization’s story and outcomes to funders and potential funders.
- Represent the organization to and interface with the funders using a variety of communication formats, including in-person meetings.
- Present proposals and reports at funder meetings when requested.
- Write sponsorship packages.
- Work with the finance department and others in developing complex budgets.
- Supervise and train the grant writer(s) and other grant staff.
- Stay up to date on trends in the grants industry to ensure the agency’s success.
- Comply with all applicable training requirements.
- Complies with all company safety, personnel, and operational policies and procedures.
- Complies with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs.
- Contributes positively as a member of a productive and cooperative team.
- Performs other duties as necessary to fulfill the agency’s mission.

SVdP CARES works to rapidly house those experiencing homelessness within 30 days and concurrently connect them to resources and stabilization support services to assist their needs.
