About being our Civil Engineering Intern

As a Civil Engineering Intern , you will have the opportunity to practice what you are learning, while building upon your technical skills, abilities and knowledge. With the benefit of in person supervision, you will have the opportunity to touch a lot of different civil design areas while assisting with a broad range of assignments which may include roadway, traffic, drainage, utility, grading, and site preparation for public entities.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Engineering Intern

• Current student with a major in Civil Engineering from an accredited program. Candidates from local universities / colleges are preferred.
• Availability to work in our office 10-16 hours per week during the school year and / or 20-40 hours per week during the summer
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Some experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Ability to work in our office to experience a collaborative team environment
• Self-starter and self-motivated
