What You Will Do :
L’Oréal USA seeks a Director to join the US Public Affairs team within the Corporate Affairs & Engagement Department. In this role, the Director will contribute to the advancement of the company’s strategic public affairs objectives through proactive advocacy and engagement with stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Vice President of US Public Affairs and other team members to provide subject matter expertise in government relations, public policy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and provide analysis on the implications of pending executive action, legislation, government policies, and competitor strategies for L’Oréal USA.
- Build and maintain strategic networks of internal stakeholders for cross-functional policy issue alignment.
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing external relationships with legislators, policymakers, NGOs, and other key opinion leaders.
- Represent L’Oréal USA externally on priority policy issues at industry trade associations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to key business and corporate partners on policy issues and strategic communications.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership on priority environmental policy issues and support the development of integrated public affairs strategies.
