Job Summary : Create, improve and protect the environment in which live. Plan, design and oversee construction of structures and infrastructure, such as roads, airports, dams, irrigation projects, water supply and sewerage systems. This position will place a greater emphasis on water supply and distribution, sanitary sewer collection and treatment and storm drainage systems.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or higher from EAC / ABET accredited University in a related field
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years' civil engineering experience
- 2+ years' public works experience
- Nevada Professional Engineer or EIT certification (preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
Job Duties :
Physical Demands : May include occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Repetitive movements associated with typing and other office tasks. Visual acuity with or without corrective lenses that allows for maintaining a valid driver's license. Performing physical activities that require use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. To be completed with or without reasonable accommodation.
