Civil Engineer Intern - Public Works - San Antonio, TX

Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our San Antonio, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works, Land Development and Water & Wastewater projects. The Civil Engineer Intern will assist in land development design, support projects in land development planning, perform CAD work, and other engineering tasks as needed.

Civil Engineer Intern - Public Works Responsibilities :

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Public Works, Land Development and Water & Wastewater projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

Civil Engineer Intern - Public Works Requirements :

Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours / week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
