Job description

Associate, Social Strategy And Publishing

Thrive Global is a leading behavior change tech company helping individuals, corporations, and communities improve their well-being and performance through our behavior change platform, storytelling, and corporate services. Thrive's Microsteps small, science-backed steps to improve health and productivity have been adopted by employees at more than 200 organizations in over 160 countries, from frontline and call center workers to executives at multinational companies.

We are seeking a highly creative Associate, Social Strategy and Publishing with a primary focus on LinkedIn, and additional distribution across Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and Substack (no TikTok).

The right person for this role loves transforming long-form articles into content for today's platforms translating research, interviews, speeches, and archival content into compelling, high-impact social storytelling. This person is deeply engaged with the latest news in health and technology and understands the powerful science behind the impact of the five daily behaviors sleep, food, movement, stress management and connection.

If you're not sure that you're 100% qualified, but this sounds like a role you would Thrive in we want you to apply! We believe skills are transferable and passion for our mission goes a long way.

Who You Are:

  • Highly creative, with a sharp editorial instinct
  • Fluent in LinkedIn strategy and platform mechanics
  • Energized by breaking news in AI, health, neuroscience, leadership, and performance
  • Skilled at transforming longform thinking into concise, platform-native storytelling
  • Organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Data-literate, with experience using analytics to refine strategy
  • Motivated by Thrive's mission and the power of behavior change

How You'll Contribute:

Lead LinkedIn Strategy

  • Drive growth, engagement, and thought leadership positioning
  • Develop distinctive content formats tailored to LinkedIn's audience

Reimagine Existing Content

  • Translate longform articles, interviews, research, podcast clips, and speeches into compelling social narratives
  • Develop recurring content franchises aligned with key themes: AI, resilience, sleep, performance, leadership, and culture
  • Identify new ways to bring existing footage and archives to life

Cross-Platform Execution

  • Publish and optimize content across Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and Substack
  • Ensure each platform reflects a cohesive yet native voice
  • Partner with design to produce premium, shareable assets

Cultural & News Relevance

  • Monitor emerging research and breaking news
  • Rapidly synthesize insights into timely, authoritative commentary

Analytics & Growth

  • Track performance metrics and produce regular reporting
  • Run structured experiments to drive measurable growth
  • Continuously refine strategy based on data

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling high-visibility social accounts (100K+ followers)
  • Proven experience developing LinkedIn strategy
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience translating complex ideas into accessible, high-performing content
  • Strong understanding of B2B and leadership audiences
  • The ideal candidate will be located in New York and excited to work primarily at our office in Soho

What We Offer:

  • Mission-Driven Impact: Be part of a company that's truly making a difference in people's lives around the world.
  • Career Growth: Develop within the company and help shape our growth strategy.
  • Human-Centric Culture: Thrive in a supportive environment with a range of wellness perks and benefits.
  • Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a comprehensive and rewarding total compensation package.
  • Health & Financial Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage plus a 401(k) program with company match.
  • Time to Recharge: Generous paid time-off programs designed to help you rest, reset, and recharge including Thrive Time, a benefit unique to Thrive that gives employees additional paid time off after major projects or intense periods of work to truly recharge and recover.

Compensation:

Base compensation for this role will likely fall in the $90,000-$120,000 range.

  • Please note: We provide a competitive mix of salary, performance bonus, and equity. The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.
