Seton Hall University Libraries invites applications for two (2) full-time permanent Inter-professional Health Sciences (IHS) Library faculty positions. Reporting directly to the Dean of University Libraries, successful candidates will serve as liaisons to the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) and the College of Nursing (CON) as a team with course-integrated instruction and outreach and serve as members of the Research Data Services team. We seek candidates with experience working in undergraduate or graduate academic allied health sciences libraries and / or in clinical or hospital library settings to staff the Library & Information Commons in the Interprofessional Health Sciences building in Nutley, NJ. Both CON and SHMS are PhD granting units and the IHS Library supports information literacy outcomes from the undergraduate through the graduate levels along with dissertation requirements and submissions. The facility is shared with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM) students, who are served by a separate HMSOM library collection and staff. These are lecturer positions, which are full-time and permanent.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide faculty and student instruction, consultation and support in allied health disciplines
including citation management, evidence-based practice, instructional support, interlibrary
loan and & document delivery, NIH Public Access Policy, Data Management Plans and
other federal mandates, and some work on literature reviews.

Required Qualifications :
