Essential Job Functions
- Purchases materials, supplies and inventory items following established guidelines and procedures set forth by management
- Research vendors and suppliers to ascertain the most cost-efficient source of supplies, product quality and timely deliveries
- Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers and understand the suppliers' dynamics
- Track backorders, arranges with vendors for delivery and notifies the jobsite as to the expected delivery date
- Complete purchase orders using designated software as required
- Performs data entry of purchase orders on computer as required
