Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and processes assigned purchase requests for commodities and contractual services for the department using appropriate purchasing methods in accordance with laws, rules, policies, and procedures contained in state of Florida's Purchasing Policy and applicable to the departments operating procedures.
  • Performs other duties, as required.
  • Working closely with program offices and county health departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met in a timely and economical manner.
  • Performing other related duties, as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of State of Florida purchasing rules and laws
  • Skill in use of personal computers
