Position Overview of the Purchasing Specialist :
We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to oversee our procurement processes and ensure efficient sourcing and purchasing of products, supplies, and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist :
- Order products, supplies, and services using purchase orders as requested by the team.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide regular reports to management.
- Own the vendor management process, including maintaining relationships with existing vendors and sourcing, screening, and processing new vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.
