We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plumbing Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our procurement process.
Job Summary :
As a Plumbing Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our plumbing projects run smoothly by managing the procurement of necessary materials and supplies. You will work closely with our vendors, and project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of plumbing products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Procurement Support : Assist in the purchasing of plumbing materials, tools, and supplies as required by ongoing projects and service needs.
- Vendor Management : Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Inventory Management : Monitor stock levels, track inventory, and reorder materials as needed to prevent shortages.
- Order Processing : Create and process purchase orders, track order status, and resolve any issues related to deliveries or discrepancies.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Reporting : Assist in generating reports related to purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the project managers and field staff to understand their material needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
