Job descriptionSettle purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services Collaborate with internal teams to identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships. Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements Monitor market trends and perform market analysis to drive continuous improvement and identify new opportunities Streamline purchasing processes, identify inefficiencies, and successfully conduct innovative solutions to enhance productivity Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and ensure timely resolution of any issues. Lead and supervise the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team success Run and evaluate supplier performance. Collaborate cross functionally with other teams.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of tried experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a scientific or manufacturing environment
- Extensive understanding of effective procurement strategies, negotiation of contracts, and management of suppliers
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. ERP experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in effectively guiding and fostering a team that consistently achieves exceptional results.
