Job Overview

Join our agile development team as a QA Automation Engineer , where your expertise in performance and automation testing will be critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. In this role, you’ll leverage advanced QA tools and frameworks to develop, maintain, and execute automated and performance tests across UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios. Key Responsibilities

Performance and Automation Testing : Design, implement, and maintain performance and automation test scripts for assigned products.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to create performance test plans, strategies, and acceptance criteria.
Test Case Automation : Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test cases and integrate them into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
Performance Monitoring : Analyze application performance, database servers, and other system components, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Framework Maintenance : Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Test Planning : Develop comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure optimal test coverage.
Team Coordination : Work effectively with both onshore and offshore teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Extensive experience in software development and QA, focusing on web application and API testing.

Proficient with performance testing frameworks and tools (e.g., JMeter, NeoLoad, JMeter-DSL, Selenium).

Hands-on programming experience in Java , Groovy , Kotlin , or Python .

Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as GIT / GitHub , Jenkins , Maven , Gradle , Docker , and JIRA .

Proficient with test automation tools like Selenium and TestNG .

Strong knowledge of performance monitoring tools such as Grafana , Splunk , and Dynatrace .

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement effective solutions.

Skilled in writing and optimizing SQL queries to analyze and manage data efficiently.

Additional Skills

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

Experience in the healthcare domain or with HIPAA compliance is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

6+ years of experience in developing performance and automated UI / API test cases.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
