SUMMARY

Arcticom, LLC., a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager for the Consequence Management Support Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The Quality Control Manager will oversee the QC Operations department, ensure ISO 9001 : 2015 compliance, formulate audit schedule in accordance with official Performance Work Statements, ensure audits are being performed consistently, and proofread reports after official submittal. The QC Lead will be the main point of contact for the Site Director and Operations Manager to establish clear communication of needs within the work site and seeing objectives through to completion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee and Perform Inspections and Evaluations
  • Write and Proof Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure Contractual Compliance for Customer Satisfaction Based on Performance Work Statement
  • Lead Planning Meetings Discussing Outcomes of Audits
  • Perform Briefings During In-Process Review Meetings
  • Supervise Quality Control Operations at Consequence Management Support Center

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum working in a Quality Control position
  • 2 years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 standards
  • Working Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to Problem Solve
  • Public Speaking
  • Preferred

  • Knowledge of Maximo Inventory System (IBM)
  • Ability to Communicate clearly and Diplomatically
  • Self-starting Mentality
  • Willingness to take Ownership of Projects or Tasks When Necessary
  • NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    DOT COVERED / SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
  • This position does perform DOT “safety-sensitive” functions (as defined under 49 CFR Part 40) and is subject to all federal requirements related to Department of Transportation requirements for those performing, or on-call to perform, “safety-sensitive” functions. Employees must provide a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises direct reports.
  • ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

    As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
