Job Duties and Resposibilities :
Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements. Must be able to effectively use read and interpret a tape measure. Performs incoming inprocess and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance. Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected whether accepted or rejected. The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures. Inspection will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements. Regular attendance ability to arrive at work punctually ability to work onsite ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others ability to deal respectfully with the public customers vendors other employees managers and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently ability to work in a fastpaced environment ability to interchange with others in the department.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED. Experience with calibration of inspection and
test equipment preferred.
Experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications.
Must have weld inspection experience. AWS D1.1 experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations and Powder Coating.
Mag Particle Inspection preferred.
