divh2Internal Auditor III / h2pThe Internal Auditor III is responsible for providing a leadership role in the development of the audit plan and the completion of that plan, focused on customer experience and the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Serve as an auditor-in-charge for complex audit assignments across diverse industries. / ppInternal Auditor III Duties : / pulliPlan, scope, develop, and execute customized audit programs on time and on budget with minimal supervision. Review existing test plans and works to find efficiencies, including using automation or analytics techniques. Conduct follow-up testing on previously identified issues; assess whether remediation is complete. / liliApply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to project risk assessments and test plans. Perform research as needed to determine compliance with new pronouncements and / or company processes. / liliLead audits and assist in the review of work papers as part of the training of staff auditors. Oversee auditors on a project basis and by reviewing work papers for accuracy and completeness. / liliCollaborate with management to co-develop appropriate recommendations and action plans to address findings. Serve as an advisor to management on more complex projects. / liliDevelop and maintain a solid understanding of the business strategies for the specific area or process under review. / liliBuild and maintain relationships with business partners at the executive, manager, and staff levels. Provide advice and share Internal Audit knowledge with them, as appropriate. Advocate incorporation of risk management in the implementation of new systems and processes, or changes to existing systems and processes. / liliOther duties as assigned. / li / ulpInternal Auditor III Qualifications : / pulli4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or general business; Master of Accountancy a plus. / liliCPA, CIA or other audit-related professional certification. / liliCompletion of at least 5+ years of related work experience with risk-based operational audits preferred. / liliExperience leading projects that require the development of custom audit plans, including conducting independent research and applying the information learned. / liliAbility to provide direct and constructive feedback to audit staff for audit skillset / technique development / liliAbility to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management and staff. / liliProficient in Excel and Word, including advanced formulas and features / liliExperience integrating data analytics into audit programs / liliProfessional, well organized, detail oriented, thorough, committed, urgent, and a resourceful problem solver / liliSelf-starter with ability to work under minimum supervision / li / ulpInternal Auditor III Physical Demands : / pulliMust be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc. / liliMust be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. / liliConstantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
