Listing of Job Functions :
- Investigate plant and customer rejects for root cause and corrective action. Investigation may include disassembly of axle modules to the component level.
- Investigate assembly / part failures to determine if the failure is due to assembly, supplier or customer induced. Suggest corrective action measures.
- Perform failure analysis investigations for internal and customer related issues and report results to Manufacturing Quality Department.
- Perform daily residual torque verifications for Front and Rear Axle assemblies.
- Make scrap / reuse decisions of torn down assemblies.
- Enter daily scrap into the scrap data base.
- Responsible for performing assembly equipment and tooling calibration.
- Must be able to work in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.
- Other duties as assigned.
