Shipping and Quality Control Specialist

Evansville, IN PSC Group is seeking a Shipping and QC Specialist to support our Sustainability Logistics operation. This person will serve as an advocate for the customer, work proactively to understand customer concerns and needs, and will facilitate follow-up to resolve any issues and concerns. Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts with possible weekends on call.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

• Receives, processes, and follows-up on all customer orders.
• Generates pick tickets related to customer shipments
• Collaborates with customers on day-to-day operations.
• Works in NetSuite to enter all customer, supplier and carrier master data ensuring accuracy.
• Creates and processes BOL’s, Pick Lists, Purchase Orders, Shipments.
• Monitors and receives shipment receipts and enters in NetSuite.
• Reports any inventory or order inaccuracies to appropriate team member.
• Take ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution.
• Conducts investigations and creates corrective action plans for any customer related discrepancies.
• Ensures materials are sorted correctly and listed under correct product SKUS.
• Schedule outbound shipments with 3rd party freight.
• Complete a Quality Control (QC) on all material purchased.
• Complete tallies for materials purchased.
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
