Job description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a QC Chemistry Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN. Details for the position are as follows :

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
ONSITE (2ND SHIFT) : 4pm-12 : 30am

Job Description :

Perform common laboratory procedures such as pH, weighing on analytical balances, glassware prep, equipment calibrations, and reagent preparations.

Perform routine analytical testing for in-process, finished product, and raw materials utilizing HPLC, GC, UV-Vis.

Performs other laboratory duties as assigned.

Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Applies basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, materials and equipment, appropriate to areas of specialization.

Utilizes PC for data entry / retrieval and calculations.

Qualifications :

AS or BS degree (chemistry degree highly preferred)

Analytical Chemistry skillset (HPLC and Karl Fischer preferred)

Laboratory background (wet chemistry, chemical handling, pipetting, balances, basic math…)

QC Chemistry HIGHLY PREFERRED

Compensation : $24.80 per hour ($24 + $0.80 shift differential)
