REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of Age
  • Able to Pass a Drug Test
  • Legally Eligible to Work in the US
  • Additional Requirements for Craftworkers:
    • Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
    • Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
    • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)
The Construction Quality Control Engineer will oversee and enforce quality control processes throughout the construction lifecycle.

Duties:
  • Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures
  • Conducting site inspections and documenting all findings
  • Reviewing project plans, engineering specs, and material standards
  • Overseeing all quality assurance measures to ensure compliance
  • Collaborating with project management and field teams to resolve quality issues
  • Maintaining accurate daily reports and QC documentation
  • Ensuring all work meets required codes, standards, and project objectives
  • Receipt inspections of materials received at project job sites.
  • Perform and/ or evaluate test for qualification of welders and/ or welding procedures to ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1
  • Perform Inspections and document in accordance with: Code of Construction, Government Standards and contract requirements
  • QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities i.e...Civil, Concrete, Epoxy Anchors, Structural Steel, Bolting (RCSC), Grouting, Mechanical, Pressure Testing, Coatings...etc.
  • Coordination of NDE Inspection contractors.
  • Conduct Pressure Test and document results in accordance with Code and contract requirements.
  • Verification of compliance to drawings, code, & project specification requirements.
  • Responsible for creating and collecting verification documents for final work packages.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge and experience with key construction codes and standards, including:
  • ASTM Standards, D6938, D698, ACI 301, ACI 318, Engineering specifications
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate and maintain quality standards
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced env
  • Minimum 5 years or equivalent in performing inspections.
  • Experience with the following codes of construction and or standards; ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, RCSC, API and ASNT.
Additional Information:
  • Pay range is $38.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Per Diem: $110.00-$120.00 per day
