Our client is a growing manufacturing company specializing in precision machining and fabrication. They are currently seeking an experienced QC Inspector to join their team. If you are a skilled professional with a strong background in CNC machining, Quality Control Inspection, blueprint reading, and GD&T - (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), we want to hear from you!
Position Overview :
As a Quality Control (QC) Inspector, you will play a crucial role in measuring and inspecting high-quality machined components for a variety of industries such as the aerospace, automotive and medical device industries that require tight tolerance machining. You will be calibrating, operating, and using quality instruments and tools, and interpreting blueprints to ensure the accuracy of the parts made. Your expertise will contribute to the success of their operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Calibrate, operate, and use quality instruments and tools to ensure the accuracy of the parts made in accordance with production specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure the accurate machining of components.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) using tools such as : Vernier calipers, Dial calipers, Digital calipers, Micrometers, Bore micrometers, Depth micrometers, Optical Comparators, and Vision Systems to measure and inspect parts to meet precise specifications.
- Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

24hr-$34hr (OR) $60-95K DOE
