About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, components, and installations meet regulatory standards, safety codes, and internal quality expectations. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, electricians, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure electrical systems and components comply with applicable safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to verify compliance with product and service requirements.
- Conduct inspections and document outcomes through detailed reports, performance records, and corrective action notes.
- Train and guide subcontractors on quality control expectations, best practices, and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues efficiently to maintain workflow and uphold company standards.
- Identify electrical hazards, deficiencies, or non-conforming work and provide clear recommendations for corrective action.
