Resolve Surgical Technologies is seeking a Controller to join their team in Marquette, MI. As Controller, you will work with the CFO to build, implement, and monitor accounting and process controls, risk management, and KPIs with a focus on costing, inventory, and asset management. In this role, you will be accountable for overseeing all supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution accounting and reporting company wide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Oversee timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including consolidation of financial statements.
Manage audits, tax returns, statutory reporting, and compliance with US GAAP and company standards.
Provide accurate cash reporting, forecasting, and technical accounting research.
Streamline and document financial processes, leveraging ERP systems for scalability and accurate reporting.
Benchmark and enhance accounting practices, ensuring efficient operations and control integrity.
Mentor and develop the accounting team while educating the business on financial needs.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to align financial reporting with business processes.
Manage relationships with auditors, advisors, and investors, including capitalization tables and equity tracking.
Evaluate cost accounting practices, drive supply chain improvements, and create visibility into overhead spending.
Administer control programs for operations, capital investments, and cost standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
Licensed CPA required.
10+ years of experience working in accounting and / or finance roles specifically working with tax, audit, and treasury management required.
ERP design and implementation experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in a Controller (or higher level) position preferred.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing and cost accounting preferred.
Knowledgeable in US GAAP compliance, financial reporting, ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP), and tax preparation in complex environments.
Strong skills in cost accounting, data analysis, variance analysis, and advanced Excel reporting.
Proficient in process optimization, enhancing productivity, and aligning financial operations with best practices.
Exceptional leadership, planning, and communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and grow professionally.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Skilled at collaborating across all levels of an organization, influencing decisions, and facilitating change management.
