What Youll Do

Enstall is seeking a highly skilled and multifaceted Supplier Quality Engineer with the right blend of experience and knowledge to manage and maintain product quality requirements from external suppliers. Key areas of emphasis and responsibilities to include :

• Support APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) activities for all phases of product life cycle.
• Understand product application and design requirements & specifications to ensure design will result in repeatable manufacturing / assembly and acceptable quality.
• On-board and train new suppliers in key Quality functionality.
• Lead FAA (First Article Approval) process through inspection form creation data review discrepancy resolution and approval workflow.
• Lead PSIR (Pre-Shipment Inspection Report) process through inspection form creation data review and analysis discrepancy resolution and approval workflow.
• Manage supplier deviations and track improvement actions to complete prior to deviation expiration.
• Issue SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Request) as necessary and track open items to closure.
• Review and approve ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) for completeness and data accuracy with a focus on DFQ (Design For Quality).
• Perform annual supplier quality audits.
• Review verify and approve supplier CP (Control Plan) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) documents to align with product specifications and requirements.
• Identify evaluate recommend & implement required measurement testing analysis and other verification mechanisms to ensure that product application & design requirements are being met by suppliers.
• Identify evaluate recommend and implement continuous improvement plans for the betterment of the Enstall quality organization.
• Take part in new supplier assessments to determine supplier quality capabilities prior to award of business.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Where Youll Be Located

This is a hybrid position (2-3 days / week in the office or more when business needs dictate) and will be based in any of our main office locations (North Andover MA Hayward CA or Phoenix AZ).

We offer competitive compensation determined by each individuals relevant experience skills education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $85000 and $105000 annually if located in the San Francisco Bay Area addition to base salary Enstall employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission depending on their position.
