The Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Coordinator has the primary responsibility for ensuring the implementation and maintenance on specific tasks and project basis including effective implementation of food safety and quality procedures. Meeting all regulatory, customer, and bakery requirements.
salary : $20.99 - $21 per hour
shift : First
work hours : 5 AM - 1 : 30 PM
education : High School
Responsibilities
- The FSQA Technician is accountable for implementing and monitoring food safety and quality assurance procedures.
- Accountable for conducting monthly internal audits w / management
- Responsible for sampling, testing, and documentation of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- including procedures, records, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Conducts internal equipment calibrations
- Participates in routine facility and corporate audits
- Participates in daily food scoring evaluations and identify possible defects.
- Employee is flexible when it comes to potential OT or weekend needs (uncommon)
- FSQA experience is a plus, but not a requirement; willingness to learn new skills is a plus
- Skills : good communication skills and bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, Outlook / emails, organization, filing
