What We Need :

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own and lead quality initiatives, develop scalable automation frameworks, and drive process improvements across teams. In this role, we are looking for someone to enhance product quality and operational efficiency by ensuring our products meet the highest standards through thorough testing, inspections, and automation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Product team and Engineering leads, establishing key quality metrics, managing automated testing infrastructure, and supporting the Clasp team. As you grow in your role, there will be opportunities to learn more about full-stack development, leveraging AI, DevSecOps and more!

What You'll Do :

  • Automation Development : Design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks in partnership with engineering teams to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
  • Test Planning : Define the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities to ensure that software meets quality expectations; takes into consideration risk, security and compliance
  • Manual & Exploratory Testing : Design and execute manual testing plans, capturing edge cases and ensuring critical paths are tested before deployment
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments to optimize product quality and processes.
  • Analyze data from inspections and testing, identifying trends and recommending actionable improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with design, production, and other teams to resolve quality issues and ensure process consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Provide training on quality procedures and best practices across teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including test results, reports, and compliance records.
  • Support the development and execution of validation and verification plans for new products and processes.
  • Track and report key quality metrics, working with teams to identify areas for improvement.

What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.
  • Experience working with python, JavaScript or similar programming languagesStrong experience in developing and implementing automation frameworks, such as Cypress or equivalent, for quality testing and process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive cross-functional solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of security, DevOps and more to support broader efforts

    The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and industry knowledge, ranging between $80,000 to $115,000 annually.
