Location : Greater Los Angeles, CA Area
Title : Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
A leader in the Machinery Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in the Greater Los Angeles area. The SQE will play a pivotal role on the quality team, joining a team of seasoned quality professionals. With a clear career path forward this role is a great way to get involved with a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer
- Evaluate and qualify new supplier materials for use in the facility
- Create and maintain positive, long lasting relationships with vendors
- Proactively address problems in the areas of manufacturing to ensure issues do not persist
- Conduct internal audits and proactively make changes to fix any problems that arise
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives throughout the facility in the areas of manufacturing
- Perform root cause analysis and correction action to ensure issues do not persist
- Develop and recommend solutions in the areas of manufacturing and quality
- Maintain the highest standards of quality for supplier materials
