Job Details Key Responsibilities Lead food safety and quality improvement projects across multiple manufacturing sites Support scale-up of R&D formulations into commercial production environments Develop and improve process controls, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing documentation Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives focused on defect reduction, process optimization, and customer complaint reduction Train and mentor FSQA teams on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices Partner with Engineering teams on sanitary design, equipment installations, and manufacturing process improvements Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, USDA, FDA, and customer-specific requirements Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality and food safety issues Provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries related to food safety and quality systems Travel to manufacturing plants and partner locations to support implementation and execution activities Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline 5+ years of manufacturing experience within Food & Beverage environments Strong experience in process improvement, quality systems, and food safety programs Hands-on knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, 9 CFR, and 21 CFR regulations Experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams Lean Six Sigma or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification highly preferred Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills Comfortable with regular travel to manufacturing sites Location Requirements Candidates must currently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, or Wisconsin Interested in hearing more?
