Quality Control Manager - Federal Construction
A well-established, nationally recognized general contractor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support complex commercial and federal construction projects. This company has a strong reputation for ground-up delivery, operational excellence, and long-term employee development.
This role is ideal for a QC professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and wants to be a major contributor to successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, manage, and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan .
Oversee onsite quality processes, inspections, documentation, and compliance.
Coordinate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and owners to ensure work meets contract specifications and industry standards.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections per QC requirements.
Track and document deficiencies, corrective actions, and progress reports.
Review submittals, ensure adherence to plans, and maintain all required QC logs.
Partner with project leadership to drive continuous improvement and prevent rework.
Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years of quality control experience in commercial, industrial, or federal construction.
Strong knowledge of QC processes, building systems, and construction means & methods.
Familiarity with USACE standards, EM 385, and / or government specifications is a plus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality.
