We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA / QC) Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality protocols for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong expertise in regulating technical accuracy, adherence to industry standards, and fostering consistent quality in project deliverables. As a direct representative of our company, this position reports to the Director of Engineering and assumes a proactive stance in mentoring engineering teams and enhancing project outcomes.
Salary : DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and implement a robust QA / QC program, developing tools like checklists and templates to uphold quality standards.
- Enforce technical guidelines that comply with industry codes and best practices, ensuring all project aspects meet the highest standards.
- Lead comprehensive technical reviews and regular audits to maintain compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain meticulous records of QA / QC activities, creating detailed reports to track quality metrics and identify improvement areas.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous process enhancements to resolve non-conformities and bolster project quality.
- Conduct training sessions and offer mentorship to engineering staff on best practices in quality control and assurance.
- Ensure all project deliverables adhere strictly to federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
