Job Title : Quality Engineer
Job Description
The Quality Document Specialist is responsible for managing document management and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) through SharePoint and internal systems. This role involves generating documentation for various departments, maintaining quality records, and performing audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. The specialist collaborates with operations to enhance product quality and processes, requiring both technical skills and physical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage document management and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) through SharePoint and internal systems.
- Generate documentation for various departments, maintain quality records, and perform audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with operations to enhance product quality and processes.
- Maintain quality department records, customer-specific requirements, quality alerts, and inspection tests.
- Perform QMS / document audits and address discrepancies.
- Support the establishment and improvement of quality systems and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage the approval and archival of SOPs, WIs, Process Flows, CAPA, OOS, deviations, nonconformance, complaints, and investigations.
- Support validation and qualification of process equipment, lab equipment, stability chambers, cleaning, and utilities.
- Monitor quality procedures on the shop floor to ensure production staff align with documentation.
- Help rebuild the current quality management system to align with new standards as part of an acquisition.
- Maintain, format, and update over 500 documents.

Work Environment
The role requires working with various technologies and equipment, including SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe. The work environment involves collaborating with different departments and performing physical tasks related to quality management. The position may include monitoring shop floor activities to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00 / hr.
