Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactiveQuality Manager to join our team at the new bushing factory in Charlotte, NC.This role is crucial for ensuring that our high-quality standards aremaintained and adapted to our new facility. This role requires a hands-onmentality and the ability to work in a startup environment. The successfulcandidate will lead the development of the quality management system and builda strong quality control team.
Your Tasks :
- Transfer quality standards from our established European operations and adapt them to suit the new operations.
- Lead the setup and implementation of the quality management system to ensure product excellence and compliance.
- Align quality management practices with the lead factory and corporate quality management to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Build and develop a competent quality control team to support production and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into all aspects of the manufacturing operation.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensurecompliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations related toquality processes.
