Job descriptionWalk and stand for a 12 hour period Occasionally lift / carry up to 50lb Keep your work area clean and orderly Learn a lot of new information in a short period of time Ask lots of questions and take initiative to learn more Be an active and productive member of the Quality Assurance team Communicate problems to leaders and production personnel, as required Perform basic math, such as calculated area and perimeter of a square, converting percent to decimal, and converting decimal to percent Work a shift that requires nights and every other weekend Be 18 years of age Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Be able to work a 12 hour night shift Outstanding medical, Rx, vision and dental insurance with coverage from your first day of employment 401k with employer match Competitive vacation plan and paid time off Life and disability insurance plans Tuition reimbursement
We are seeking Quality Technicians for our First Quality Baby Products facility located in Macon, GA . The starting pay rate for this position is $20 / hour. You must be able to work a 12 hour night shift.
As a Quality Technician, you will :
- Perform audits in a timely manner
- Enter test data and inspection data into computer software accurately
- Follow hold procedures for products not acceptable for shipment
- Complete paperwork as required
In our work environment, you will need to be able and willing to :
1-2 years of experience as a Quality Auditor or Technician is preferred!
