Job Purpose

• To follow up day to day quality in the Montgomery facility, ensure correct measurement and disqualification criteria, make sure the product meets quality expectation and initiate quality improvement

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required, in some engineering fields, such as industrial engineering, chemical engineering, etc.

Experience

2 years of experience in Quality areas, with knowledge of quality inspection and quality rejections.

Required Competencies :

Working Conditions

Within the production facility the environment is controlled. There are times that require inside and outside working so ups and downs in temperature are normal. Must follow all safety regulations at all facilities and wear all proper safety equipment. Steel toe shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and goggles are required in certain areas of the plant. The facility is also a BRC food packaging facility so all requirement of the BRC must be followed

Physical Requirements

Must be able to spend a considerable amount of time working on the production floor among a variety of different machines / chemical and physical laboratory. Work on feet for long periods of time. Some lifting required. Must be aware of your surroundings at all times. Must be willing to work in wet environments doing testing when necessary
