Duties: Responsible for the development of highly sophisticated alpha-generating models. Participate in the idea generation process. Responsible for asset allocation, portfolio optimization, and security selection. Interact with Portfolio Managers and other asset management team members to understand macroeconomic and risk management issues. Improve existing models and processes. Apply concepts such as effective duration, OAS, spread duration, effective convexity, yield measures, beta, and tracking error. Architect an advanced interactive dashboard, leveraging cutting-edge technical expertise to deliver sophisticated visualizations and insights. Improved operational efficiency by streamlining data analysis processes and integrating advanced statistical methodologies, including machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics. Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Quantitative and Computational Finance or a closely related quantitative field and two (2) year of experience as Financial Analyst, Quantitative Research Analyst, or a related position.

Experience must include: Applying quantitative techniques in financial mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics to solve forecasting risk measurement and management problems. Utilizing Python, R, SQL, and other programming languages. Conducting financial, statistical and quantitative analysis and modeling projects. Developing interactive dashboards to visualize data and model performance. Optimizing processes to improve workflow and operational efficiency.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
