JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, this professional-level position is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of all land surveying activities for the City, including right-of-way operations. As a New Hampshire Licensed Land Surveyor, incumbent is required to certify work. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, is part of the UAW Professional Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 13, with an hourly rate dependent upon experience.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Engineering, or closely related field
- Five (5) to eight (8) years relevant experience
- Must possess a valid New Hampshire Professional Land Surveyor License
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Proficient use of computers, CADD, Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
