Description :

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a role where you can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact? A&K Railroad Materials Inc. is growing, and we need a motivated, self-starting professional to join our hardworking and collaborative team. With over 65 years in the rail manufacturing industry, we take pride in delivering top-quality materials while fostering a team-oriented and progressive work environment. This 100% onsite role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, can take initiative, and is ready to step up and contribute from day one.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines, ensuring precision manufacturing of railroad track materials. You’ll read blueprints, interpret G-code, and work with various manual tools to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the production process. This role involves working with 3 and 5-axis CNC machines, requiring a sharp eye for detail and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift. The right candidate will bring hands-on experience in CNC machining, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team.

Requirements : What You’ll Do :

  • Program CNC software, operate machines, and ensure quality production.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and work orders to execute precise machining.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
  • Work in a heavy industrial environment, using manual tools and equipment as needed.

We are looking for a CNC Machinist with prior experience in CNC machining and a background in industrial or manufacturing environments. You must be a problem solver, adaptable, and confident in your ability to work with minimal supervision. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with proficiency in measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers. The ability to understand technical instructions and remain flexible in a dynamic production setting is key to success in this role.

At A&K Railroad Materials Inc., we invest in our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off, holiday pay, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and tuition reimbursement. If you’re looking for a stable, well-established company where you can grow your experience and advance your skills, this is the opportunity for you. If you’re ready to take on this exciting CNC Machinist role, click to fill out our quick 3-minute application, and we’ll be in touch within 24-48 hours. Join a team where your experience and expertise are valued, and where you can build a lasting career in rail manufacturing!
