Starting Salary Range : $16.31-$20.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
Position Summary : Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods, refer students to other relevant resources, and assist with daily activities in the relevant resource center for Johnson County Community College (JCCC).
Required Qualifications :
- High School Diploma with successful completion of one year of undergraduate coursework in science and math in addition to specific courses such as General Biology, Cell Biology and Microbiology.
- Must be familiar with laboratory techniques.
- Require good communication skills, including listening with understanding and patience.
- Ability to explain concepts in Biology, both orally and in written form in a one to one or small group setting.
