Job Summary
Business Systems Analyst- Third Party Applications
Lexington, KY
The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing the organization's use of third-party software applications while managing the lifecycle of software releases. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technical teams to ensure smooth operations, align technology solutions with business needs, and manage the deployment of updates or new features.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all third-party software applications used across the organization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to third-party software, escalating to vendors / support when necessary, and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct routine audits and maintenance of third-party systems to ensure reliability and security compliance.
- Collaborate with business units to evaluate and recommend enhancements or upgrades.
- Plan and coordinate the release schedule for enterprise software updates, patches, and new implementations in collaboration with vendors and IT Teams.
- Develop and maintain details release plans, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Oversee post-release reviews to ensure quality and identify opportunities for improvement in the release process.
- Maintain thorough documentation for third-party applications including user guides, system configuration, and release notes.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and third-party vendors to negotiate contracts, service levels and deliverables.
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment on timelines and expectations.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback loops into subsequent releases.
