Real Estate Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Bookkeeper with Appfolio experience to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support property management operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, proficiency in bookkeeping software, and the ability to analyze financial data to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Appfolio Management : Utilize Appfolio for rent collection, owner distributions, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Financial Transactions : Process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and manage general ledger entries.
• Budgeting & Reporting : Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Property Accounting : Maintain tenant and owner account records, process lease agreements, and track rental income.
• Tax Compliance : Ensure adherence to tax regulations, assist with filings, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Vendor & Payroll Management : Process vendor payments, manage payroll transactions, and ensure timely disbursements.
• Audit & Compliance : Conduct periodic financial audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide recommendations for financial improvements.
