Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Equities Associate with 4 to 6 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in its Downtown Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions , dispositions , joint ventures , and financing transactions for a diverse base of clients, including developers , investment companies , advisors , pension funds , and REITs .

Key Responsibilities :

Manage a variety of real estate equity matters, particularly acquisitions , dispositions , joint ventures , and financing , including negotiation and preparation of loan documents .

Participate in the development of commercial real estate projects.

Collaborate closely with clients on sophisticated real estate transactions, helping to navigate complex structures and deal terms.

Qualifications :

4 to 6 years of experience in acquisitions , dispositions , real estate joint ventures , and financing transactions.

Strong skills in writing , organization , analytical thinking , and communication .

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team .

Major law firm experience preferred.

High academic achievement and admission to the State Bar of California .

Compensation :

Base Salary : $250,000 to $300,000 per year (actual salary will depend on experience and qualifications).
